Help Center – UnifyDrive

My UnifyDrive UT2 won’t turn on. What should I do?

When your UnifyDrive UT2 refuses to power on, don’t panic. First, take a deep breath and methodically check a few key things. Start by ensuring you’re using the original power adapter that came with your device. Many power-related issues stem from using third-party chargers or damaged cables.

Remove any installed SSDs and try powering on the device. If it still doesn’t respond, try different power button techniques: a short 30-second press, a longer 3-second hold, or even simultaneously pressing the RST and PWR buttons for a potential factory reset. If you’ve recently installed an SSD, there might be electrical interference – our support team has successfully resolved many cases by using electrical tape to isolate the SSD from the motherboard.

Should these steps fail, it’s time to reach out to our support team. We’ll need details like your SSD model, the exact steps you’ve tried, and any error symptoms you’ve observed.
