Plug and Backup Functionality Issues

Observed Symptoms #

  • Unable to change backup method
  • Stuck backup tasks
  • Error: “Backup task in progress”
  • Tasks show 0/0 progress
  • Cannot delete or complete tasks

Troubleshooting Steps #

  1. Backup Configuration
    • Verify current system versions:
      • Make sure your device’s System Version is up-to-date.
      • Make sure your device’s Service Version is up-to-date.
    • Attempt to disable and re-enable device
    • Check for firmware updates
  2. Backup Method Change
    • Ensure no ongoing backup tasks
    • Attempt to change from full to incremental backup
    • If tasks are stuck, seek technical support
