RAID 1 (Redundant Array of Independent Disks Level 1)
RAID 1 ensures data redundancy by mirroring data between two SSDs of equal capacity. If the capacities differ, the total storage is limited by the smaller SSD.
Advantages:
Provides full data backup
Requires only two SSDs
Simple to set up
Disadvantages:
Reduces available storage by 50%
Limited storage flexibility when using SSDs of different capacities
UDR (UnifyDrive Redundancy)
UDR is a proprietary data redundancy method developed by UnifyDrive. It requires at least two SSDs and allows selective file backup.
Advantages:
Enables selective file backup
Saves storage by excluding less important files
Disadvantages:
Files not included in the backup remain vulnerable to data loss
