To ensure optimal performance and stability, UnifyDrive devices require SSDs that have been tested and validated by the UnifyDrive engineering team.
⚠️ Important Notice #
Western Digital (WD) Blue series SSDs are not supported on UnifyDrive devices due to known compatibility and stability issues.

Will an unsupported SSD be damaged? #
No. Compatibility issues typically affect SSD detection, system stability, or performance. They do not normally cause physical damage to the SSD.
Why is WD Blue not supported? #
Based on internal testing and customer feedback, multiple WD Blue SSD models have demonstrated compatibility and stability issues when used with UnifyDrive devices. For this reason, WD Blue SSDs are not officially supported.
